On May 1st, 2025, Pakistan witnessed a powerful wave of rallies, seminars, and cultural events as workers, students, trade unions, and progressive organizations united under the banner of resistance against capitalist exploitation and in memory of the martyrs of Chicago. The Pakistan Trade Union Defence Campaign (PTUDC) along with Peoples Revolutionary Front (PRF), Jammu Kashmir National Students Federation (JKNSF) and Revolutionary Students Front (RSF), in alliance with various labor federations and social organizations, led widespread demonstrations across the country and its held areas. These events highlighted ongoing struggles against privatization, inflation, job insecurity, IMF dictates, and systemic inequality, while renewing the pledge for socialist transformation.
