As we face the nightmare of Reform the left is as divided as ever, yet it is now more urgent than ever that all workers and lefts unite around a common campaign for a new mass workers party. We must develop a programme which can unite current activists, trade unionists, disillusioned Labour Party members, workers who have illusions in Reform, youth and, most important of all, attract and develop the emergent class fighters who will inevitably be thrown forward in the forthcoming struggles. A system run for need not personal profit must be fought for; a campaign about bread and butter issues – standard of living, decent pay, workers rights and conditions, the NHS, education and all the others.
