On October 7th 2500 Hamas fighters launched attacks on military installations, kibbutz, villages, and small towns in southern Israel. Within hours over 1400 Israelis had been killed. Since then, the people of the Gaza Strip have endured conditions of medieval siege and an air assault utilising the most sophisticated weaponry in the world. Israeli troops have now launched a ground offensive. Nearly 10,000 Palestinians have died. Around the world millions have come onto the streets in support of the Palestinian people, shocked and outraged by the horror unfolding before their eyes.
